Foreccast: lots of sun, but heavy showers possible

The weather today will be much like it has been the past couple of days, according to the National Weather Service.

That is to say it will be warm and sunny with gentle winds.

Most areas are expected to remain dry but brief, heavy showers will remain a possibility this weekend, forecasters said.

Here's a more thorough look at the next few days:

Today,sunny. Isolated showers in the afternoon. Highs 81 to 88. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tonight, partly cloudy with isolated showers. Lows 70 to 76. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Sunday, mostly sunny with isolated showers. Highs 81 to 89. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Sunday night, partly cloudy with isolated showers. Lows 70 to 76. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Monday, sunny with isolated showers. Highs 81 to 89. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
