Tempo Valley and Quadrophonix at Jazz Minds tonight

Tempo Valley puts on a special show from 9:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. tonight at Jazz Minds Art and Cafe. Tempo Valley will feature vocalist Paisley, and Seph 1 and Slo with the verbs. The band is being compared to a mix of Sade and Massive Attack — island style.The band will be joined on stage by Quadraphonix, " A group that effortlessly straddles the gap between avant-garde improvisation and accessible Funk and Latin grooves," and The NuSwing Project, " known for its jazz-laced fusion of funk and soulful hip-hop — and the sultry-voiced Maria Remos.
