Chef Mavro holds Big Island cooking seminar Sept. 21-23

George Mavrothalassitis, lauded chef and owner of Chef Mavro restaurant, will hold Cooking in the Country with Chef Mavro Sept. 21 and 23, at Waianuhea, a luxury inn on the Big Island's lush Hamakua Coast.

The weekend seminar includes a cooking class with Mavrothalassitis, a gourmet lunch in the inn's art-filled Great Room, a stroll with the chef through a farmer's market followed by a picnic, and Sunset Wine Hour every night.
