5-7 foot surf expected today along north-facing shores

Advertiser Staff

Surf is on the way up along O'ahu's north-facing shores and could reach 5 to 7 feet today, according to the National Weather Service.

Elsewhere, the surf should be 2 to 4 feet along south-facing shores; 3 to 5 feet along west-facing shores; and 1 to 3 feet along east-facing shores.

The current small south swell will linger into Sunday. Another more substantial south swell is expected to arrive Thursday. A series of small northerly swells will continue through this weekend.

The next northwest swell is anticipated Wednesday evening.
