Pagoda Hotel revives local-performer showcase Sept. 14

The Pagoda Hotel was once the place to go for entertainment — David Copperfield and John Rowles got their start there. After a long hiatus, hotel is once again reviving its showcase of established and aspiring artists on its new Aloha Friday night. Performances will be on the stage in the Pagoda Hotel's second-floor LaSalle Lounge, which overlooks the hotel's koi pond.Show times are from 8 to 10 p.m. beginning Sept. 14. The room will also be open for a Hawaiian buffet dinner, pupus and cocktails from 7 to 11 p.m.
Singer Nohelani Cypriano's company, Cypriano Productions, is the organizer and booking agent for the weekly event.
