Human remains found along Kauai shoreline

LIHU'E – The remains of an unidentified person were found Thursday afternoon on the shoreline near Ahukini Landing, Kauai police officals said.The case is under investigation and the remains have been sent to a forensic lab on O'ahu for examination.
Anyone with information that could further the investigation is urged to call Detective Carl Oliver at 241-1882, Lt. Daniel Fort at 241-1680, or Police Dispatch at 241-1711.
