Tour, learn about Capitol District with historian

'Iolani Palace is part of a walking tour offered every second Saturday of the month.

Explore the Capitol District with local historian Nanette Napoleon, who'll conduct a walking tour that begins and ends at the Mission Houses Museum and visits points in between, including Ali'iolani Hale, 'Iolani Palace, the Hawai'i State Art Museum, Washington Place and Honolulu Hale.

The tour is from 10 a.m. to noon today and every second Saturday of the month.

The cost: $15 general, $10 Mission Houses Museum members, free for those 12 and younger. Reservations: 531-0481, ext. 707.
