Colin Lund's 27-yard field goal with 43 seconds left lifted No. 5 Mililani (3-1, 1-1) over No. 7 Leilehua (2-2, 1-1) in an OIA Red West Division game at John Kauinana Stadium.

"It was a routine kick, serious, I knew what I had to do," said Lund. "(Mililani head coach Darnell Arceneaux) said, keep my head down and put it through."

A crowd of 2,200 — nearly two-thirds Trojan supporters — erupted into jubilation as the kick split the uprights.

"It was one of the best feelings ever," Lund said.

Leilehua went up 14-13 on Dronson Pausa's 2-yard touchdown run with 10:58 to play.

"This win showed a lot of character," Arceneaux said. "Our players demonstrated great determination to stay in it." leilehua (2-2, 1-1) 0 7 0 7—14
