THURSDAY WORKDAYS — Join the Nature Conservancy 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursdays at the Honouliuli Preserve in Kunia for volunteer work requiring hiking and moderately strenuous activity removing invasive species, clearing trails, monitoring and repairing fences. ALOHA 'AINA EARTH DAY — The 31st Recycling Community Cleanup Project will allow residents to dispose of bulky items and recyclables, 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at Wai'anae Small Boat Harbor. Accepted will be scrap metal, auto parts, bicycles, metal appliances, lawn mowers, newspapers, cardboard, HI-5¢ containers, tires, green waste, computers, fishing nets and more. Proceeds will benefit Nanakuli High School, Nani O Wai'anae and Pai'olu Kai'aulu.

QUICK KAWAI NUI CLEANUP — Windward Ahupua'a Alliance will hold a Quick-n-Dirty Cleanup of Kawai Nui waterway and Hamakua Marsh 12:30-2 p.m. today, with a pau hana party 2:15-4 p.m. HI-5¢ beverage containers will be collected 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Pre-registration not required. GET THE DRIFT & BAG IT — Sign up for the annual Save Our Seas' and Ocean Conservancy's International Coastal Cleanup on Saturday. POUHALA MARSH RESTORATION — Hawai'i Nature Center is restoring Pouhala Marsh in Waipahu. Volunteers are needed to pull pickleweed and mangrove, 8:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday.
