Forest City expects to close on new O'ahu project

Forest City Enterprises Inc., a Cleveland-based real estate company, said it expects to close on a transaction within 30 days on a 917-unit Marine Corps project on O'ahu, bringing its total to 6,563 military family units in Hawai'i.Forest City disclosed the new project in announcing second-quarter net earnings rose to $67.8 million, or 63 cents a share, from $7.5 million, or 7 cents a share, a year earlier.
