Hawaii Superferry court hearing under way in Maui

Testimony under way at a hearing in Maui Circuit Court on whether to allow Hawaii Superferry to operate while an environmental assessment is conducted is focusing on potential threat to whales and other marine species.Maui Circuit Court Judge Joseph Cardoza, who last month granted a temporary restraining order that now bans the Superferry from using Kahului Harbor, is hearing arguments pertaining to an injunction.
