'Wordsworth' author to read for kids

Advertiser Staff

Author and poet Frances K. Kakugawa will read from her work at the children's room of the Kapolei Public Library at 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Kakugawa is the author of many books including "Wordsworth the Poet," the tale of a poet mouse living in a Hawaiian rainforest. The story teaches children about the value of poetry and self–expression.

She will read aloud this story and then introduce her latest children's book, "Wordsworth Dances the Waltz."

The 45–minute program is recommended for children ages 6 and up. Call the library as soon as possible for a sign language interpreter or other accommodations.
