Wave memorial party planned in November

Advertiser Staff

Wave Waikiki will rise from the ashes, at least for a night, when Jack Law, Flash Hansen and Matty Boy put on a Wave Waikiki Memorial Party Nov. 21 at Senor Frog's in Waikiki.

Rail will perform for the first time in three years; Wave DJs including KSM, racerX and Byron the Fur will man the turntables.

The event is for those 21 and older, just like the old days.

Wave Waikiki, operated by Law, was a stand-alone club at 1877 Kalakaua Avenue, from November 1989 until its closure in June 2000 to make way for a highrise.
