Navajo singer/comedian to perform at benefit

The American Indian Pow Wow Association will host a benefit concert featuring Navajo singer/comedian James Bilagody on Sunday at Kualoa Ranch.

The event starts at 5 p.m. with a spaghetti dinner and silent auction.

Tickets are $25 for adults, $10 for children ages 10 and under.

All proceeds will benefit the 33rd annual Intertribal Pow Wow set for Oct. 6 and 7 at Thomas Square Park.

Bilagody plays the hand drum and guitar and sings contemporary and traditional songs. Two of his albums were nominated for Native American Music Awards.
