Drug search likely in Pacific Palisades stolen-car bust

Advertiser Staff

Police today were seeking a warrant to search a car for suspected drugs following the arrest of a woman and man yesterday in Pacific Palisades.

Pearl City Crime Reduction Unit officers stopped a stolen car at 1:45 p.m. and arrested the woman driver, 42, on suspicion of auto theft and a male passenger, 39, on suspicion of unauthorized entry into a vehicle.

Police saw packets containing suspected crystal methamphetamine in the vehicle and were seeking a warrant to search the trunk for drugs today.

The woman, Linda Lee Parks, was being held on two outstanding warrants totaling $1,500.

She has seven prior convictions, according to Hawai'i Criminal Justice Data Center records.

Her male companion was under investigation for drug offenses as well as unauthorized entry.
