Woman, 18, hit by vehicle near Aiea Bowl

An 18-year-old woman was seriously injured when she was hit by a vehicle this morning while walking along 'Aiea Heights Drive near the Aiea Bowl bowling alley.The driver, whose vehicle struck the woman about 5:59 a.m., stopped to render aid and was told by the woman to take her to the bowling alley, where she works, authorities said.
From there a city ambulance was summoned and took the woman to The Queen's Medical Center.
