High-surf advisory until Friday for south shores

The National Weather Service has issued a high-surf advisory through noon Friday for south-facing shores, which should see surf 5 feet to 8 feet today.The advisory was brought on by a moderate south swell that reached Hawai'i early this morning.
Elsewhere, surf along north, east and west shores will be 3 feet to 5 feet today.
