Trade winds sticking around through next week

Moderate trade winds will continue to blow across the state through next week, the National Weather Service said today.

Forecasters at the Weather Service still anticipate an increase in showers Friday and Saturday on the windward side of the Big Island.

Today: Partly sunny with scattered showers. Highs 80 to 86. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers. Lows 68 to 75. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.

Friday: Mostly sunny with scattered showers. Highs 80 to 86. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.
