Smoke reported near UH farm in Central Oahu

Two fire companies have been sent to the area near the University of Hawai'i's Poamoho experimental farm on Kaukonahua Road in Central O'ahu to check on reports that smoke has been seen coming from the area.A brushfire that started in the same area last month burned for more than a week and blackened 1,100-plus acres before it was finally extinguished.
The fire crews were sent to the area about 7:15 this morning.
