Pearl Harbor sailor held in robbery investigation

A 26-year-old Navy man stationed at Pearl Harbor arrested last night in Waikiki for investigation of second-degree robbery remained uncharged but in police custody tonight.

The man allegedly tried to flee from a cab without paying after being driven around to several ATM locations, police said.

The sailor allegedly punched the male driver, 39, while trying to flee from the cab fronting 2280 Kuhio Ave. at 11:40 p.m.
