Property tax relief seminar today in Aiea

Representatives of the city Treasury and the Real Property Assessment Division will conduct a community meeting in 'Aiea this morning to provide information on property tax credits and home exemptions for elderly, low-income homeowners.The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. at the 'Aiea Hongwanji Mission Social Hall, 99-186 Puakala St.
Homeowners must apply by Oct. 1 to receive the tax relief.
City officials will give an overview of the credits and assist with filling out the appropriate forms.
