The National Science Foundation and The Kohala Center are sponsoring a presentation tonight on global warming.

The presentation by Stephen H. Schneider, interdisciplinary environmental studies professor at Stanford University, will be at the University of Hawai'i-Hilo Campus Center Room 301 at 7:30 p.m.

Schneider will discuss climate change and its relationship to the volume of greenhouse gases humans emit, how quickly we emit them, and the private and governmental policies related to energy, transportation, capital stock and land use.

The lecture is also sponsored by Whitman College and University of Oregon.
