Watada lecture preliminary event announced

Pre-lecture events have been planned for the Watada Lecture and the Rev. Yoshiaki Fujitani Interfaith program.
As earlier announced, this year's headliner will be Glenda Wildschut, a commissioner on the South African Truth and Reconciliation Commission who will be speaking on "The Pain of Injustice, The Promise of Reconciliation" at 7 p.m. Oct. 29-30 at Church of the Crossroads.
In anticipation of her presentations, a prelecture event with Rep. Hermina Morita of Kauai will discuss "Pathways to Peace and Social Justice in Hawaii" at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Kakaako Homeless Shelter on Forrest Avenue.
