Big Island police seek help finding father, two children

Big Island police are asking for the public's help in locating two young children and their father.

The children's mother reported that the father, Kanoa Ignacio, 30, of West Hawai'i, had agreed to return them to her on Tuesday but failed to do so.

The children are identified as Payvyn Kaleo-Ignacio, a 3-year-old boy, and Sayler Kaleo-Ignacio, a 4-year-old girl.

Police ask anyone with information about their whereabouts or the whereabouts of Kanoa Ignacio to call the Police Department's nonemergency number at 808-935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call CrimeStoppers at 808-961-8300 in Hilo or 808+329-8181 in Kona. All CrimeStoppers information is kept confidential.
