Tennis: Gonzalez, Robredo to meet in China Open final

BEIJING — Fernando Gonzalez defeated Ivan Ljubicic, 2-6, 6-3, 6-4, today to reach the final of the China Open.The second-seeded Gonzalez dropped the first set but gradually gained control to take the next two sets against the fourth-seeded Ljubicic.
Gonzalez will play third-seeded Tommy Robredo in tomorrow's final.
Robredo edged Nicolas Kiefer 7-6 (5), 7-5.
