Surf of 6 to 9 feet expected on north-facing shores today

Advertiser Staff

An out-of-season northwest swell will keep surf along north-facing shores pumping at 6 to 9 feet today, according to the National Weather Service.

Elsewhere, we can expect surf of 3 to 6 feet today along south- and west-facing shores and 3 to 4 feet along east-facing shores.

The northwest swell will begin lowering tomorrow. Another south swell is expected Wednesday with surf heights near the high surf advisory threshold along south-facing shores.
