Look for big surf later this week, but not today

The large surf along north-facing shores of O'ahu has dropped overnight but will still be in the 3 to 5-foot range today, according to the National Weather Service.Surf of 3 to 5 feet is also expected today along south-facing shores while the east- and west-facing shores will likely see surf of 2 to 4 feet, forecasters said.
Another south swell is expected Wednesday with surf heights approaching the advisory threshold of 8 feet along south-facing shores. A new north swell will arrive Thursday but will remain below the north-facing shores advisory level of 15 feet.
