Man, 60, charged in Nanakuli shooting case

Advertiser Staff

A 60-year-old man charged in connection with Wednesday's shooting incident at a Nanakuli townhouse is scheduled to make his initial appearance tomorrow at District Court.

David K. Delima, a felon with 10 prior convictions and no permanent local address, is accused of second-degree attempted murder for allegedly shooting at the house of a 27-year-old man on Helelua Street.

No one was injured. Police suspect the shooting involves a turf battle of drug dealers.

Delima is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail and six outstanding warrants totalling $1,575. He was charged Friday.

Another man, 49, arrested with Delima was released pending further investigation.
