UH football team jumps five spots to No. 19 in AP poll

The University of Hawai'i football team moved up five spots to No. 19 in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll, released today.The Warriors (3-0) defeated UNLV, 49-14, in Las Vegas on Saturday. UH's highest ranking in the poll voted on by sports writers and sportscasters is 18th in 1981.
Southern California remained No. 1, followed by LSU, Florida, Oklahoma and West Virginia.
The Warriors face Charleston Southern Saturday at Aloha Stadium.
