Pizza delivery man robbed in downtown Honolulu

By Rod Ohira
Advertiser Staff Writer

A pizza delivery man was robbed by a man with a gun today, the second Sunday armed robbery in downtown Honolulu in three weeks.

Police closed the Executive Centre parking structure on Bishop Street at about 6 p.m. to search for a suspect, who may have been wearing a ski mask. The parking structure at 1088 Bishop St. was reopened about two hours later.

The suspect is at large. No injuries were reported in the robbery.

On Sept. 2, a gunman robbed a Subway store at 1130 Fort Street Mall at 3:50 p.m. The Subway robbery suspect is still at large.

It is unknown if the two cases are related.
