Hahaione main breaks leaves 25-30 customers dry

The Board of Water Supply expects to complete repair work on a broken 12-inch transmission line and restore service to 25-30 customers in Hahaione Valley tonight at about 11 o'clock.The main break was reported at 7 a.m. today. It forced the closure of Ainapo Street to Nanahonua Street for most of the day.
BWS spokesman Devon Nekoba said troubleshooters were investigating reports of an eight-inch main break in the same area at 10:15 p.m.
