THURSDAY WORKDAYS — Join the Nature Conservancy from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursdays at the Honouliuli Preserve in Kunia for volunteer work trips requiring hiking and moderately strenuous activity removing invasive species, clearing trails, monitoring and repairing fences. KANE'OHE WETLAND PROJECT — Volunteers needed Oct. 13 to help the Sierra Club clear a wetland of mangrove to create habitat for endangered water birds at Marine Corps Base Hawai'i. CHUN'S REEF CLEANUP — Join Adopt-A-Beach Hawaii and Save The Sea Turtles International at noon Sept. 23 for Chun's Reef Beach highway and coastal cleanup.
