Roosevelt rallies past Nanakuli in White, 22-21

Lowen Kahooilihala threw two touchdown passes, including a 11-yarder to Victor Kapihe in the fourth quarter, as visiting Roosevelt rallied past Nanakuli, 22-21, last night in an O'ahu Interscholastic Association White game.

Solo Sausi scored on runs of 3 and 4 yards to give the host Golden Hawks (1-3, 1-2) a 14-0 lead in the third quarter. Alika Tolentino's 4-yard run made it 21-15 in the fourth quarter.

Roosevelt (3-1, 3-1) had taken a 15-14 lead on Ranson Tuitama's 4-yard run and a pass from Kahooilihala to Tuitama for the two-point conversion.
