Hawaii to mark Peace Day at Capitol on Friday

Dozens are expected to come out to celebrate Peace Day at the state Capitol on Friday.The event starts at 5:30 p.m. in the Capitol courtyard, and includes a release of rainbow pigeons, a welcome from Gov. Linda Lingle and performances from students and others.
About 7:20 p.m., there will be a candle-lighting ceremony, followed by a silent prayer.
