Morning showers should break by afternoon

Some showers that are moving across Hawaii will decrease later this morning, though some may persist into the afternoon over windward and mauka sections of the islands, the National Weather Service said.Trade winds are on the rise, expected to reach 20 mph because of a high-pressure system to the north.
