H-2 offramps closed near Mililani

Advertiser Staff

The state Department of Transportation has scheduled lane closings on the H-2 Freeway's Mililani Mauka off-ramp (Exit 5A North) today through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for tree removal and landscaping work.

The north-bound H-2 Freeway right lane approaching Exit 5A may also be closed during these hours. Drivers are advised to use the Mililani Town off-ramp (Exit 5B North).

Some trees near the H-2 are being pruned and removed because they pose safety hazards, transportation officials said. Tree removal work will continue through this month, and native trees will be planted near the end of the year.
