Kaiser High's School Community Council is seeking a community-minded person for the council — a group formed to review school standards, academic and financial plans and to ensure student needs are met.

The volunteer must live in the East Honolulu area and submit a nomination sheet that includes background information and vision for the school. Nominations must be filed by 3:30 p.m. Sept. 28 at the school's office at 511 Lunalilo Home Road. The group meets monthly.
