Hawaii stocks climb after Fed rate cut

The Bloomberg-Honolulu Advertiser Hawai'i Index soared as local stocks took part in a market rally after the Federal Reserve voted to cut its benchmark overnight lending rate by half a percentage point.The 11-member stock index jumped 3.55 to 101.58 at the close of regular trading. All but two stocks showed increases.
The gainers were led by Alexander & Baldwin, which climbed $2.69 to $52.69. Bank of Hawaii rose $2.67 to $53.45.
