Moderate surf to continue through weekend

A south swell expected to arrive tonight and keep surf in the moderate range through Friday, followed by another swell Friday night that will lost through the weekend.The National Weather Service forecast calls for surf along south shores to be 3 to 5 feet and east shores to see surf 4 to 6 feet. Surf along west shores will be 2 to 4 feet, and surf along north shores will be 1 to 3 feet.
A moderate northwest swell will affect north facing shores Thursday night through Saturday, the National Weather Service said.
