VC group hosts discussion on intellectual property

The Hawaii Venture Capital Association will host a panel discussion on how to deal with intellectual property, including patents, trademarks and copyrights from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sept. 27 at the The Plaza Club in Honolulu.

The panelists will include: Leigthon Chong, an intellectual property and patent attorney; Martin Hsia, who practices patents, trademarks and copyrights law at Cades Schutte; and M. Sharon Webb, who is a registered patent attorney.

The cost is $29 for HVCA, Hawaii Angels, DualUse Council, Bytemarks and HSTC Members and $39 for nonmembers. Register at www.hvca.org.
