Former UH star McBriar leads NFC in punting

Former University of Hawaii punter Mat McBriar of the Dallas Cowboys leads the NFC in punting with a 47.0 average.McBriar, who was named to the Pro Bowl last season, has punted six times in two games — both Cowboy victories.
He has a long of 64 yards.
Shane Lechler of the Oakland Raiders is the overall leader with a 49.0 average.
