HONOR ROLL: Joe Moore's "Prophecy and Honor," a near sell-out at the Hawai'i Theatre last month, has netted $60,000 for the Pacific Aviation Museum, the beneficiary of the endeavor. It starred two Hollywood figures, Richard Dreyfuss and George Segal. Moore, the KHON-2 anchor who occasionally puts on his acting boots, said he has decided to release a DVD to further help the museum at Pearl Harbor. Video Designs taped the closing performance of the play about the court martial of Gen. Billy Mitchell), intending it as an archival document of the show. "But the quality was pretty good, so we've released a two-disc DVD version, on sale only at the Pacific Aviation Museum gift shop," Moore said. Cost is $29.95. ...

There was, after all, a "Phantom" bit during the Andrew Lloyd Webber segment, and Gaines has more than 2,000 performances behind the mask. Merola is president of the Hawaii Performing Arts Foundation, which is trying to raise seed money to help Island actors get to Broadway. ...
