The Japanese Cultural Center will honor educators at its annual Celebration of Leadership and Achievement Dinner on Sept. 29.

The dinner, from 5 to 9 p.m., will be at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Coral Ballroom. Educators to be honored are: Jane Komeiji, a retired teacher and historian; Richard Kosaki, chancellor emeritus of the University of Hawai'i-Manoa; Margaret Oda, the first graduate of the doctoral program at the UH College of Education, and Dennis Ogawa, a UH professor of American Studies.

The dinner costs $150 per seat.
