Advertiser Staff

The fourth annual Himene Patitifa Contest International Final makes its debut at the Polynesian Cultural Center on Sept. 27.

The competition, originally held in Tahiti, features singers and songwriters from Asia, Polynesia and North and South America.

Performances will be in the Pacific Theatre.

"Hawai'i is considered the melting pot of the Pacific, and hosting this event at the Polynesian Cultural Center is a perfect fit," said Raymond Mariteragi, cultural island director at PCC, in a news release. Cost is $8 for adults, $6 for kids ages 3 to 11.
