Boaters off White Plains Beach in Ewa seek help

A Fire Department rescue crew and the department's helicopter have been sent to an area off shore from White Plains Beach on the grounds of the former Barbers Point Naval Air Station in response to a report of boaters in distress there.The fire crews were dispatched to the scene at 7:38 a.m.
No additional information on the incident was immediately available.
