Lyon Arboretum welcomes volunteers for work day

Lyon Arboretum will be part of a national volunteer effort on Sept. 29 to preserve public lands.From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Manoa botanical garden, volunteers will assist arboretum staff members with garden trail maintenance, invasive plant removal, planting native Hawaiian plants and light weeding.
