Man arrested in Kaimuki after teen reports sex assault

A 27-year-old man was arrested in Kaimuki this morning on suspicion of third-degree sexual assault after a 15-year-old girl reported that the man touched her in appropriately while she was riding to school on a city bus.Police were told the incident happened about 7 a.m. They said the girl reported the incident after she got off the bus.
Police said responding officers ordered the bus to pull over near the intersection of Wai'alae and 4th avenues, where the suspect was arrested. He was taken for booking to the main police station on Beretania Street.
