Aiea 8th-graders learn about watershed on field trip

The city Department of Environmental Services will host an educational field day at the 'Aiea watershed for 120 eighth-grade students and teachers from Aiea Middle School today.During the field day, the students will learn about data collection to measure water quality in the watershed. Students will also learn about the natural history of the 'Aiea watershed, as well as the identification of invasive plant and pest threats.
