Surf science discussion set for today

Pat Caldwell, surf forecaster for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, will discuss the basics of surf science at 6:30 p.m. today at the Chinatown Boardroom.Part of the 3rd Thursday Surf Discussion Series at the gallery, the event is free and open to the public.
The series was created to be a forum for people to meet and discuss surf-related topics.
The Chinatown Boardroom is at 1160 Nu'uanu Ave.
