Honolulu woman arrested with 20 fake traveler's checks

Police today arrested a Kamehameha Heights woman who allegedly attempted to cash 20 counterfeit traveler's checks at a Kapi'olani Boulevard bank near Ala Moana Center.The woman, 44, was arrested for investigation on 20 counts of second-degree forgery at 9:25 a.m.
According to Hawai'i Criminal Justice Data Center records, the woman has eight prior convictions.
